The Marching Cats banquet is scheduled for Thursday, November 20, 2014 from 6:00pm to 9:00pm at Apalachee High School. Dinner is from 6pm to 7pm. Only those that have paid for dinner will be allowed in the cafeteria/stage area during this time. Reservations for dinner are closed.
If you wish to attend the awards portion of the night, it is free and starts at 7:15pm. Please do not arrive before 7pm. You do not have to make a reservation for the awards part of the night.
We had a great turn out for the heart healthy challenge. We collected 20 boxes of Cheerios and had some fun too.
The band did a wonderful job at festival this year, earning our 14th straight Superior rating. I am so proud of all the work that you put into getting our show polished up and the performance you gave on Oct. 4th. A big thanks to Mr. Pearce, Mr. Threadgill, Mrs. Gilstrap, Mr. Aldridge and Mr. Smith for all they did to help our band keep moving forward.
You can still order letterman jackets through the school website. A $100 deposit is required. Click here to print out a form. Remember you must be at least completing your second year in Marching Band to be eligible to order a jacket.
A huge thank you to all the parents that took the time to volunteer during marching band season. All of your efforts went to make this season successful. Our program really takes a village to work and even the smallest act makes a big impact on the students. You folks are the best!!

If you can earn a corporate sponsorship from your place of employment you can earn 1 band credit for a bronze sponsor, 2 band credits for a silver sponsor, 3 band credits for a gold sponsor, and 4 band credits for a platinum sponsor. If you would like to head up this fundraising program and have the potential earn multiple band credits see Catherine Petway.
Print 1 copy of each file. Use the letter to explain the program to your employer. If they choose to become a sponsor have them complete the application, attach their payment and mail it to the address at the bottom of the form. Make sure to write your student's name in the comment section of the form so that your band credit will be applied to the correct account.
